An Access database as well as ArcView shape files is in place for the data sets.
Holder: Name of the company/individual and full address
Reference number of license: EPL number
EPL grant date: Date in which the EPL was granted by Ministry of Mines and Energy.
Expiring date: EPL expiry date
Minerals: Minerals to
be explored
Location: Locality of prospecting area, district and region
Employment: Number of people to be employed, the work they will do,
will people live on site, if non-resident - how often will they visit?
Holder's environmental commitments: Intention of using any toxic
or hazardous substances at the site. The holder provides names of toxic and
hardous substances intended to be used and purpose for using them. The holder
provides explanation on how the substance will be stored and disposed.
Issued environmental clearance: Date in which the environmental clearance
was issued to the company.
