Abstract:

A Hydsys database at the department of Water Affairs. This database contain information on ground water levels as obtained from Namwater, evaporation rates from open water bodies, ephemeral and perennial river flow as well as daily rainfall for the entire Namibia. The information is presented in maps, tables and graphs.

Purpose:

The data is used in ground water resources management. The data also provides decision makers, planners and researchers with information regarding water availability in the country.
