Description:

Abstract:

Total rainfall for the season measured at 100 points in Etosha National Park. The rainfall is measured daily from 7 stations thought the Park. The positional accuracy of the 100 points where measurements are taken is variable, but most at about 100 m by GPS.

Purpose:

The data is used to monitor rainfall, predict climate change and desertification in the country. When correlated with other Environmental parameter the data is used to explain other local environmental phenomenon.
