The constituency boundaries were updated from the original digital data produced by the National Remote Sensing

Centre on the basis of the first government gazette in 1993. Amendments made by Environmental Profiles were

based on the 1998 Second Delimitation Commission.

This data set includes estimated numbers of people per constituency - obtained by overlaying the boundaries of the

constituencies on the analysis of population density (see notes for Population density) and calculating the total

number of people in each constituency.
