Demonstration Projects

A number of physical CP demonstration examples will be established in manufacturing and service industries so that Namibian data, information and experience can be made available to decision-makers in the different sectors. The CP demonstration projects will cover a range of sectors and sizes of industries in order to ensure a high level of replicability of the projects. The CP demonstration projects should have significant potential environmental and economic benefits. The major criteria for selection of industries will be as follows:

• High demonstration value in terms of replicability in other organisations/companies/sectors and in terms of cost savings/economic benefits
• High demonstration value in terms of minimising of inputs (water, energy and raw materials)
• High accessibility – place demonstrations in towns and/or in training institutions where people can get access to and actually visit the demonstration
• High beneficial impact on the environment
• High beneficial impact on Occupational Health and Safety
