INVITATION FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES

BACKGROUND

The Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET) invites experienced and qualified person (s) to assist with the operationalization of the Environmental Investment Fund (EIF).

The Environmental Investment Fund of Namibia was established through Act No.13 of 2001. The Fund has been mandated under the Act to raise financial resources for direct investment in environmental protection and natural resource management.

Experienced consultants are invited to apply for this consultancy.

Objective
The objective of the consultancy is:

a. To develop a one-year work program for the EIF; and
b. To provide administrative support to assist the board with the conduct of day-to-day activities on an interim
basis prior to appointment of permanent staff.
