Namibia`s environment: A measure of change

This environmental documentary intends to generate awareness on natural environmental change, which is currently accelerated due to human impacts, among the Namibian people. It brings to life much of the past history of the Namibian people and their interactions with the environment. It uses characters to tell a story about environmental change in Namibia while the narration blends a diverse assemblage of personal accounts, scenery and landscapes. Spectacular scenes from “contrasting beautiful Namibia” are guaranteed to capture the audience who follows a story told by those directly dependent on their natural environment for food and income.

The premiere of the video documentary "Namibia’s Environment: A measure of change" was screened to an invited audience on November 18, 2004 at the Windhoek Country Club. The environmental documentary is available on DVD and on video tape. Please contact the EIS unit for more details.
