Tommy Nambahu, Born on 21 March 1960 is the Deputy Minister of Environment and Tourism and a legal practitioner. He holds Master’s degree in Law. Prior to his appointment as Deputy Minister of Environment and Tourism in 2015, He has been a Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister of Justice since 2010.

Nambahu left to exile in 1977 as a teenager at the age of 16, alongside other freedom fighters he then came back to Namibia in 1989.

Hon Nambahu was a lead lawyer in the development of Water Resources and Management Bill which is now an Act in the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry.

He worked as a consultant at MOFA which dealt with water resources and legislation issues. As a result of his hard work and commitment he has climbed on a ladder of success from humble beginnings of being just an administrator to now a national leader as a Deputy Minister and Member of Parliament.
