o How do I log-on onto my computer?
Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete together, ‘Log on Windows’ screen appears. Type in your user name: e.g. paul.isaacks (use the username assigned to you by the Systems Administrator), in the password block, enter Password1 (use password assigned to you), and at the log on to, select MET from the list. Then click ok.
NB: Make sure the caps lock key on your keyboard is off.
o How do I change default home page to google.com on Internet Explorer?
Open Internet Explorer; click the Tools menu in the browser. Select Internet Options, and then Click the General tab. In the Home page section, enter http: //www.google.com in the text box. Click Apply then, OK. Close and open your browser once again.
